Additional Eligibility Information

Most healthcare employers and training institutions require background checks for healthcare students in training or employees. As such, these individuals either must be U.S. citizens or have immigration status that qualifies them to work in the United States. With this in mind, recipients of the SDNK scholarship MUST have the ability to work and pass a background check in the United States. Please seek legal counsel if you are unsure if your immigration status will allow you to complete the requirements of your health degree.
